Sweet Things to Say to Your Girlfriend

I love kissing with you

My girlfriend and me have been together for few years already. But still, everytime we kiss, I remember our first kiss (which, to be frank, was quite awful, I was thinking – is it me, or her – which one does not know how to kiss?).

However I remember my first kiss not because it was worst our kiss ever, but because every our other kisses are better and better. And, yes, i guess, it is hard to think like that after few years of kissing everyday. Anyway, I love kissing with my girlfriend and probably I should let her know that…

I love kissing with you..

Some more sweet things to say:

Sweet Kitty Bellairs

Weekend Labour days

Sweet Kitty Bellairs is a 1930 musical comedy film photographed entirely in Technicolor. In contrast to usual historical costume dramas, the picture never takes itself seriously and is a delightful satire of the England of 1793 in the city of Bath. The film pokes fun at such things as the way women dressed when they went bathing in the 18th century (we are shown in one sequence a pool in which women are dressed head to toe with their hats on!) or to how men viewed a woman's bare ankles with what seems today to be an inordinate amount of delight and satisfaction.

The cast, which includes Claudia Dell as Kitty Bellairs, Ernest Torrence as Sir Jasper, Walter Pidgeon as the young Lord Varney, Perry Askam, Lionel Belmore, and June Collyer, enjoy themselves thoroughly, are never called upon for much histrionic effort. The cinema is from David Belasco's play of the same name. Walter Pidgeon and Claudia Dell are the principal singers. They pleasantly sing two delightful romantic love songs.

The Big Bang...

THE BIG BANG:

It sure was BIG!!

The Hubble Telescope's deepest view of the universe teaches us about the beginning

INTRODUCTION

We certainly know that our universe exists, however, this knowledge alone has not satisfied mankind's quest for further understanding. Our curiosity has led us to question our place in this universe and furthermore, the place of the universe itself. Throughout time we have asked ourselves these questions: How did our universe begin? How old is our universe? How did matter come to exist? Obviously, these are not simple questions and throughout our brief history on this planet much time and effort has been spent looking for some clue. Yet, after all this energy has been expended, much of what we know is still only speculation.

We have, however, come a long way from the mystical beginnings of the study of cosmology and the origins of the universe. Through the understandings of modern science we have been able to provide firm theories for some of the answers we once called hypotheses. True to the nature of science, a majority of these answers have only led to more intriguing and complex questions. It seems to be inherent in our search for knowledge that questions will always continue to exist.

Although in this short chapter it will be impossible to tackle all of the questions concerning the creation of everything we know as reality, an attempt will be made to address certain fundamental questions of our being. It will be important to keep in mind that all of this information is constantly being questioned and reevaluated in order to understand the universe more clearly. For our purposes, through an examination of what is known about the Big Bang itself, the age of the universe, and the synthesis of the first atoms, we believe that we can begin to answer several of these key questions.

THE BIG BANG

One of the most persistently asked questions has been: How was the universe created? Many once believed that the universe had no beginning or end and was truly infinite. Through the inception of the Big Bang theory, however,no longer could the universe be considered infinite. The universe was forced to take on the properties of a finite phenomenon, possessing a history and a beginning.

About 15 billion years ago a tremendous explosion started the expansion of the universe. This explosion is known as the Big Bang. At the point of this event all of the matter and energy of space was contained at one point. What exisisted prior to this event is completely unknown and is a matter of pure speculation. This occurance was not a conventional explosion but rather an event filling all of space with all of the particles of the embryonic universe rushing away from each other. The Big Bang actually consisted of an explosion of space within itself unlike an explosion of a bomb were fragments are thrown outward. The galaxies were not all clumped together, but rather the Big Bang lay the foundations for the universe.

The origin of the Big Bang theory can be credited to Edwin Hubble. Hubble made the observation that the universe is continuously expanding. He discovered that a galaxys velocity is proportional to its distance. Galaxies that are twice as far from us move twice as fast. Another consequence is that the universe is expanding in every direction. This observation means that it has taken every galaxy the same amount of time to move from a common starting position to its current position. Just as the Big Bang provided for the foundation of the universe, Hubbles observations provided for the foundation of the Big Bang theory.

Since the Big Bang, the universe has been continuously expanding and, thus, there has been more and more distance between clusters of galaxies. This phenomenon of galaxies moving farther away from each other is known as the red shift. As light from distant galaxies approach earth there is an increase of space between earth and the galaxy, which leads to wavelengths being stretched.

In addition to the understanding of the velocity of galaxies emanating from a single point, there is further evidence for the Big Bang. In 1964, two astronomers, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, in an attempt to detect microwaves from outer space, inadvertently discovered a noise of extraterrestrial origin. The noise did not seem to emanate from one location but instead, it came from all directions at once. It became obvious that what they heard was radiation from the farthest reaches of the universe which had been left over from the Big Bang. This discovery of the radioactive aftermath of the initial explosion lent much credence to the Big Bang theory.

Even more recently, NASAs COBE satellite was able to detect cosmic microwaves eminating from the outer reaches of the universe. These microwaves were remarkably uniform which illustrated the homogenity of the early stages of the universe. However, the satillite also discovered that as the universe began to cool and was still expanding, small fluctuations began to exist due to temperature differences. These flucuatuations verified prior calculations of the possible cooling and development of the universe just fractions of a second after its creation. These fluctuations in the universe provided a more detailed description of the first moments after the Big Bang. They also helped to tell the story of the formation of galaxies which will be discussed in the next chapter.

The Big Bang theory provides a viable solution to one of the most pressing questions of all time. It is important to understand, however, that the theory itself is constantly being revised. As more observations are made and more research conducted, the Big Bang theory becomes more complete and our knowledge of the origins of the universe more substantial.

THE FIRST ATOMS

Now that an attempt has been made to grapple with the theory of the Big Bang, the next logical question to ask would be what happened afterward? In the minuscule fractions of the first second after creation what was once a complete vacuum began to evolve into what we now know as the universe. In the very beginning there was nothing except for a plasma soup. What is known of these brief moments in time, at the start of our study of cosmology, is largely conjectural. However, science has devised some sketch of what probably happened, based on what is known about the universe today.

Immediately after the Big Bang, as one might imagine, the universe was tremendously hot as a result of particles of both matter and antimatter rushing apart in all directions. As it began to cool, at around 10^-43 seconds after creation, there existed an almost equal yet asymmetrical amount of matter and antimatter. As these two materials are created together, they collide and destroy one another creating pure energy. Fortunately for us, there was an asymmetry in favor of matter. As a direct result of an excess of about one part per billion, the universe was able to mature in a way favorable for matter to persist. As the universe first began to expand, this discrepancy grew larger. The particles which began to dominate were those of matter. They were created and they decayed without the accompaniment of an equal creation or decay of an antiparticle.

As the universe expanded further, and thus cooled, common particles began to form. These particles are called baryons and include photons, neutrinos, electrons and quarks would become the building blocks of matter and life as we know it. During the baryon genesis period there were no recognizable heavy particles such as protons or neutrons because of the still intense heat. At this moment, there was only a quark soup. As the universe began to cool and expand even more, we begin to understand more clearly what exactly happened.

After the universe had cooled to about 3000 billion degrees Kelvin, a radical transition began which has been likened to the phase transition of water turning to ice. Composite particles such as protons and neutrons, called hadrons, became the common state of matter after this transition. Still, no matter more complex could form at these temperatures. Although lighter particles, called leptons, also existed, they were prohibited from reacting with the hadrons to form more complex states of matter. These leptons, which include electrons, neutrinos and photons, would soon be able to join their hadron kin in a union that would define present-day common matter.

After about one to three minutes had passed since the creation of the universe, protons and neutrons began to react with each other to form deuterium, an isotope of hydrogen. Deuterium, or heavy hydrogen, soon collected another neutron to form tritium. Rapidly following this reaction was the addition of another proton which produced a helium nucleus. Scientists believe that there was one helium nucleus for every ten protons within the first three minutes of the universe. After further cooling, these excess protons would be able to capture an electron to create common hydrogen. Consequently, the universe today is observed to contain one helium atom for every ten or eleven atoms of hydrogen.

While it is true that much of this information is speculative, as the universe ages we are able to become increasingly confident in our knowledge of its history. By studying the way in which the universe exists today it is possible to learn a great deal about its past. Much effort has gone into understanding the formation and number of baryons present today. Through finding answers to these modern questions, it is possible to trace their role in the universe back to the Big Bang. Subsequently, by studying the formation of simple atoms in the laboratory we can make some educated guesses as to how they formed originally. Only through further research and discovery will it be possible to completely understand the creation of the universe and its first atomic structures, however, maybe we will never know for sure.

Sachin Tendulkar

Early years and personal life

Tendulkar was born in Bombay (now Mumbai). His father, Ramesh Tendulkar, a Marathi novelist, named Tendulkar after his favourite music director, Sachin Dev Burman. Tendulkar's elder brother Ajit encouraged him to play cricket. Tendulkar has two other siblings: a brother Nitin, and sister Savita.

Tendulkar attended Sharadashram Vidyamandir (High School),[1] where he began his cricketing career under the guidance of his coach and mentor, Ramakant Achrekar. During his school days he attended the MRF Pace Foundation to train as a fast bowler, but Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee, who took a world record 355 Test wickets, was unimpressed, suggesting that Tendulkar focus on his batting instead.[19]

When he was young, Tendulkar would practice for hours on end in the nets. If he became exhausted, Achrekar would put a one-Rupee-coin on the top of the stumps, and the bowler who dismissed Tendulkar would get the coin. If Tendulkar passed the whole session without getting dismissed, the coach would give him the coin. Tendulkar now considers the 13 coins he won then as some of his most prized possessions.[20]

While at school, he developed a reputation as a child prodigy. He had become a common conversation point in Mumbai circles, where there were suggestions already that he would become one of the greats. His season in 1988 was extraordinary, with Tendulkar scoring a century in every innings he played. He was involved in an unbroken 664-run partnership in a Lord Harris Shield inter-school game in 1988 with friend and team mate Vinod Kambli, who would also go on to represent India. The destructive pair reduced one bowler to tears and made the rest of the opposition unwilling to continue the game. Tendulkar scored 326* in this innings and scored over a thousand runs in the tournament.[21] This was a record partnership in any form of cricket until 2006, when it was broken by two under-13 batsmen in a match held at Hyderabad in India.

When he was 14, Indian batting legend Sunil Gavaskar gave him a pair of his own ultra light pads. "It was the greatest source of encouragement for me," he said nearly 20 years later after surpassing Gavaskar's world record of 34 Test centuries.[22] On 24 May 1995[23], Sachin Tendulkar married Anjali, a paediatrician and daughter of Gujarati industrialist Anand Mehta. They have two children, Sara (born 12 October 1997), and Arjun (born 24 September 1999).[24]

Tendulkar sponsors 200 underprivileged children every year through Apnalaya, a Mumbai-based NGO associated with his mother-in-law, Annabel Mehta.[25]

Captaincy

Tendulkar's two tenures as captain of the Indian cricket team were not very successful. When Tendulkar took over as Captain in 1996, it was with huge hopes and expectations. However, by 1997 the team was performing poorly. Azharuddin was credited with saying "Nahin jeetega! Chote ki naseeb main jeet nahin hai!",[49] which translates into: "He won't win! It's not in the small one's destiny!".[50]

Tendulkar, succeeding Azharuddin as captain for his second term, then led India on a tour of Australia, where the visitors were comprehensively beaten 3–0 by the newly crowned world champions.[51] Tendulkar, however, was at his usual best and won the player of the tournament award as well as player of the match in one of the games. After another Test series defeat, this time by a 0–2 margin at home against South Africa, Tendulkar resigned, and Sourav Ganguly took over as captain in 2000.

Tendulkar remains an integral part of the Indian team's strategic processes. He is often seen in discussion with the captain, at times actively involved in building strategies. Former captain Rahul Dravid publicly acknowledged that Tendulkar had been suggesting moves such as the promotion of Irfan Pathan up the batting order which, although only temporary, had an immediate effect on the team's fortunes.

Real history of Taliban

That Osama bin Laden "admission"

I TOO NOTED those odd [Daily Telegraph] headlines that Osama bin Laden had suddenly admitted it too.

Bamber's report actually said that Osama made the comments in an al-Q'aeda training video, rather than the interview with a Pakistani journalist.

This video was supposed to have been released two Wednesday's ago as the centrepiece of the US and British case that Osama was guilty for the September 11 attacks. It's never been released, to my knowledge.

I emailed The Daily Telegraph a week ago about it, but never received a reply.

Some rather bizarre comments are attributed to Osama in the report, such as "History should be a witness that we are terrorists. Yes, we kill their innocents". I think I'll look further into this now that exams are over.

Importance of Time Management

Here are the top reasons why time management is of great importance to your personal and career success:

1. Time is limited. Time is a very special resource in that you cannot store it or save it for later. Everyone gets the exact same amount of time each and every day. If you don't use your time wisely, you can never get it back.

2. Time is scarce. Most people feel like they have too much to do and not enough time. Lack of time is blamed for everything from not getting enough exercise, poor finances, unachieved goals, too much stress, bad relationships, and even an unfulfilled life. Time management helps you use the time that you do have in better ways.

3. You need time to get what you want out of life. You need time to do almost anything worthwhile in life. Waiting for more free time is a loosing game that almost never results in getting time for what you want. You need to learn how to make time for the things that are important to you. Even if you can only afford to give a small amount of time each week to your goals, you'd be surprised at how much progress you can make.

4. You can accomplish more with less effort. When you become more productive using improved time management skills and tools, you can accomplish more with less effort. Reducing wasted time and effort gives you even more productive time throughout the day. Both of these allow you to make time for a wide range of activities that bring more balance and fulfillment to your life.

5. Too many choices. In this day and age, there are so many ways you can spend your time, that you need some sort of plan to make intelligent choices.

Time management helps you make conscious choices so you can spend more of your time doing things that are important and valuable to you.

23rd 2010 The historical moment of Bollywood - Rekha hugs Jaya Bachchan

Ever since Rekha’s alleged affair with Big B became public decades ago, she has remained in the blacklist of Mrs. Bachchan. So, it was a big moment for the camera persons when Rekha came close to Jaya and the two ladies hugged each other. It was all a two minute affair which happened at the launch of Rajadhyksha`s Marathi coffee table book `Chehre`.

It was Rekha who took the initiative and caught Jaya unaware while she was chatting with singer Asha Bhonsle and wished her. She held out her arms and hugged Jaya who in turn just turned away from Rekha and resumed her chat with Asha Bhonsle.

In fact, Jaya Bachchan was hosting the event and had maintained a cold attitude towards Rekha throughout the event. She did not even mention her name while naming the leading ladies of Bollywood. Film personalities Padmini Kolhapure, Hema Malini, Kajol, Sooraj Barjatya and Khayyam, among others, were present at the function.

Angelina Jolie to play the lead in Prakash Jha’s ‘Draupadi’?

Having made his mark in Bollywood and proving himself yet again with ‘Rajneeti’, Prakash Jha has rolled up his sleeves once again for his magnum opus ‘Draupadi’, which is touted to be an adaptation of the great Indian epic Mahabharata.

Jha wanted to take Madhuri Dixit for the lead role in his Hindi version but could not do so. Now, for the English version of the movie, Jha has Angelina Jolie in his mind.

Talking to a news daily, Jha said, “‘Draupadi’ is the ultimate tribute to womanhood. I’ve wanted to make it for years. Yes, Madhuri was my choice earlier. But now I’m going to make it as an international film with an international cast on a budget that would make the film a grand epic.”

“The actors have to be exotic in their features since my ‘Draupadi’ would be set in the mountains. If you’ve seen Peter Brooks’s celebrated stage adaptation of the Mahabharata it starred Mallika Sarabhai who does have exquisite features,” Jha said.

Whether or not, Prakash will be able to convince Jolie for the role, only time can tell!!

Two Chocolate Boys to Share Screen

Ranbir and Shammi Kapoor

Ranbir and Shammi Kapoor

Imtiaz Ali is back with a new story and the stars of the yester year. After getting Neetu Kapoor to work with Rishi Kapoor in Love Aaj Kal, the director has worked his charm again and has convinced Shammi Kapoor. Shammi will be returning to the sliver screen to make a guest appearance in the movie of his grandnephew Ranbir. Imtiaz is making his next movie Rockstar along with Ranbir Kapoor.

A close source revealed, “It was not easy to get Shammiji to agree with a role in the movie. Due to his medical conditions, he undergoes dialysis thrice a week. However, Imtiaz has made all arrangements so that the veteran star is able to shoot comfortably. The schedule with Shammiji will take seven days to film. Since he is not in a condition to shoot at a stretch, Imitiaz has decided to shoot his scenes in bits and parts. So, Shammiji will take a break after every day of shooting.”

Shammi Kapoor was very surprised when asked about this role. He said politely, “My dear, nothing has been finalized yet. We are working out the possibilities, given my circumstances.” Shammi was certainly very excited about working with Ranbir Kapoor and said, “I would love to do this role if I was healthy. Ranbir is a superb actor, wonderful dancer, talented and handsome. I am proud to be his grand uncle.”

The day they both share the screen together will be a very historic moment for the entire Kapoor clan. The fans of Shammi Kapoor will definitely come to watch their superstar on screen again.

Love is THE Fact of Life

Love is a fact of life. For all human beings, and especially for teenagers, it could be said that love is THE fact of life. It is one thing that is central to all human existence. You might have come to this realization already. Simply by looking into your own mind and noticing how much of your time it spends thinking about people of the opposite sex, fantasizing about people of the opposite sex, dreaming about people of the opposite sex, wondering about people of the opposite sex, feeling depressed about people of the opposite sex and so on, you get a good idea of how important this topic is in the human realm.

Because it is so important and so central to human existence, love is something that can be extremely confusing and frustrating. I know that as a teenager love was extremely confusing and frustrating to me. I had a huge number of questions about the whole space, including (If you are a girl, please replace "girl" with "boy" in the following questions):

  • Why do girls hate me?
  • Why do I feel so awkward around girls?
  • Why is it that I think about girls all the time, despite the fact that I would rather not?
  • Why does it hurt so much?
  • Why does it seem like a lot of people don’t have these problems? Why does it seem like they are able to walk up to girls, talk to them and the next minute they are going out together and having a really great time? Why are a lot of those people athletes?
  • Why are pretty girls like they are?
  • Why do a lot of girls seem attracted to guys who are obviously idiots and who treat them badly? I would treat a girl great, but that seems to make no difference. Why?
  • What is jealousy, and why do I get so angry about it?
  • Will I ever find someone who I can marry?
  • When?

Honour killing still haunts our country

The so-called "honour killings" are murders by families on family members who are believed to have brought "shame" on the family name.

The apparent "shame" could be caused by a victim refusing to enter into an arranged marriage or for having a relationship that the family considers to be inappropriate.

Some victims are driven to suicide from the pressure of their families.

KILLING OF women by family members is often termed honour killing by village elders in the rural areas of the country. Caste discrimination, however, also exists among urban Indians. Education and exposure have not been able to wash away certain prejudices even among the educated urban population of India.
"Honour Killing" literally means murder committed to safeguard the honour of the family but the term has got a deeper meaning and serves a different motive in our villages. The standard definition of Honour Killing goes like this: Honour killing is murder of womenfolk by family members, generally male, who are compelled to remove stains on their familys honour. A woman can cause that stain on the family due to several reasons like refusing an arranged marriage, eloping with her beloved, being the victim of sexual assault or just because she wants to get a divorce.
Poornima, a19 year old, was thrown into a canal by her father and some of the other male members of her family. She was being punished for falling in love with a boy of a lower caste. However, Poornima survived and later charged her relatives for trying to kill her.
Reena, a 21-year-old Jat girl had eloped with her beloved who was from the Yadav community. Her parents tracked the couple down and forced her to marry a 50-year old man. After the marriage she was repeatedly raped by her husband and three more relatives. It was after the intervention of local journalists that she was saved from her in-laws but her parents pressurised her to return to her husband. Reena lodged a complaint with the police that she was "not safe" with her parents. The girl was then sent to a "Nari Niketan". Her lover, who had been arrested for kidnapping her, is now out on bail.
Caste discrimination also exists among urban Indians. Subhash Chander, living in Chicago, killed his daughter Monika, son-in-law Rajesh Jhambh and grandchild Vansh in their Oak Forest apartment merely because his daughter had married a man of supposedly a lower caste. In 2002, an FCI official stabbed his daughter to death at Mohali for a similar reason.
According to a survey done by the Delhi-based Indian Population Statistics Survey (IPSS) in mid-2007, in India almost 655 homicidal cases have been registered as honour killings. While in Punjab and Delhi, the figure touches 32 per cent, in Muzaffarnagar, the worst affected district of Uttar Pradesh, 25 per cent honour killings have been reported so far.
These incidents and statistics bring shame to our country. Regardless of the Indian economy reaching great heights, and the country moving ahead in most spheres, the spectre of caste discrimination continues to haunt the nation. Women continue to be harassed and killed for the sake of family "honour".

How do you know a girl wants to smooch?

Well... when we give you that "look"... when we smile at you and lean in closer... when we invade your personal space... when we find ways to brush up against you... when we fall all over ourselves to make eye contact and laugh at your jokes... it's a pretty safe bet that we want you to kiss us.

Make this really easy for the guys:

  1. Position yourself within smooching range. 30-40cm is best. This must be done in a "suave" manner, ie, don't make it totally obvious that you're lining up for a kiss.
  2. Stare into her eyes. This must be done under the guise of "making eye contact" during the conversation.
  3. Conversation lulls, non-awkwardly. Usually safest to let her have the last word.
  4. Count to five. Slowly. A faint smile and slightly more opened eyes on your part helps to prepare her.
  5. If you're still silent, incline your head minimally towards hers. Inclination change should be no more than 5 degrees or 2 cm, whichever is smaller.
  6. If she wants to smooch, she'll catch the signal and respond in like manner. Bonus points if she closes her eyes as she goes in for the lip-lock. This indicates a willingness to trust you. Don't mess it up.
  7. Slowly bring faces together, tilted properly so that noses don't collide (which can be disastrous in the "trust" department). Keep your eyes open long enough to properly align your lips with hers (since her eyes will probably be closed already). After lips are initially positioned and in contact, close eyes. Experimentation with further action is left as an exercise for the reader.

This process has worked successfully (executing desired smooches as well as avoiding undesired smooches) several times for me.

I feel like i have to add something here.
I've had some girlfriends over the years, some one-night-stands, and many, many disappointments. And if you ask me, feeling much too old and a bit wiser than i would like myself to be, it's just that for sure you never can tell.
It is quite simple about us guys, maybe, were just too simple-minded, but if a guy wants to kiss a girl, the girl knows it instinctivly. Every other person 'round knows it, if he or she looks over to him.
But for the girls, it's not that simple. Everything mentioned above can be a sign that she wants to be kissed, but theres a fifty percent chance that she does not want it and is just a nice, cute (read: bitchy, man-murdering, soul-raping) person, which directly explains why every attempt to kiss her will lead direct to disaster.
I've been in this situation for at least 4 times, and wish i would have never been.
It's all in the hands of fate...

WINTERY WONDERS

Once I had a dream
And this is it

Once there was a child`s dream
One night the clock struck twelve
The window open wide
Once there was a child`s heart
The age I learned to fly
And took a step outside

Once I knew all the tales
It`s time to turn back time
Follow the pale moonlight
Once I wished for this night
Faith brought me here
It`s time to cut the rope and fly

Fly to a dream
Far across the sea
All the burdens gone
Open the chest once more
Dark chest of wonders
Seen through the eyes
Of the one with pure heart
Once so long ago

The one in the Big Blue is what the world stole from me
This night will bring him back to me

Fly to a dream...

I don't own the Book Thief, I just think its an amazing piece of artwork.

Bicycle thieve

This is an AU story of what I think would have happened should Alex Steiner have let Rudy go off to that school. Please read and review, maybe I'll come up with more!

At first, she rarely spoke. Liesel rejected words with the same passion that she had embraced them with before. She lived with what could only be called a form of survivor's guilt. It all seemed like a shell of normalicy. On the day of the funerals, Liesel stood silently beside Frau Hermann covered in the remains of Himmel Street. Through the crowd, her chocolate brown eyes scanned each face. Simultaneously avoiding the ceremony and looking-for him. But his lemon head was no where to be found. Would he ever return?

The thought kept Liesel up at night. Who would want to return to what would be an empty block where everyone was rumored to have died? Did he know she was still alive? Would he come back for her? Months passed, and the longer Liesel waited for Rudy Steiner, the more sure she became he was never coming back. Without him or Tommy to play with, Liesel moved to the Munich school, closer to where she and Max now lived. She was forced to make new friends, girlfriends this time. Slowly the wounds healed. She remained unable to escape the nightmares, but she was stronger, able to ignore them in the heat of the morning. Liesel never forgot Rudy Steiner, and there wasnt a day that went by when she didn't think of him, his lemon hair, and his never ending pestering to kiss him.

There were nights, when Liesel would wake drowning in the sheets as she stared into the vacant eyes of her Papa, drenched in a cold sweat. Tears would form in the back of her eyes, and she would thump back against the bed, staring at the ceiling. Only one thing would come to her mind, much like the previous images of Rudy in the corner in the nude. And as she studied the gentle curves of the design plastered on the ceiling, one word would be uttered from her lips.

"Rudy."

What is the importance of trees?

Trees help us breathe and provide a home for quite a few diverse kinds of animals and insects. They are the largest and longest living organisms on earth. To grow tall the tree has become a miracle of engineering and a complex chemical factory. It is able to take water and salts out of the earth and lift them up to the leaves, sometimes over 400 ft above. By means of photosynthesis the leaves combine the water and salts with carbon dioxide from the air to produce the nutrients which feed the tree. In this process, as well as wood, trees create many chemicals, seeds and fruit of great utility to man. Also, trees provide refreshing shade.

Apart from the above, trees are effectively the lungs of the environment. They take much of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen via photosynthesis. Therefore, the greenhouse gas load is reduced and effects of global warming are also brought down. Further dead trees that get buried in soil eventually provide fossil fuels like coal, gasoline products, etc. Among all, trees have an indisputable role in bringing rain to earth. Moreover, they provide a cover over the top surface of earth preventing excessive heating up by solar rays.

A small seed becomes a big Tree, gives shed in summer and in winter all of the leaves of the Tree falls down to indirectly provide us more sunlight and the atmosphere becomes more warm.
Flower on threes give joyfulness to us. Fruits satisfy our hunger.

They (Trees) always take away polluted air (Carbon Dioxide) from the environment and in return they give fresh, purified oxygen.

Tree provide home to the Birds, Animals and Human Beings also.

Some tree have medicinal values also, their every part starting from the roots to the top are full of medicinal values, Neem (Botanical Name: Azadirachta Indica) is a very famous tree and best example of this.

Trees help in controlling temperature of the environment. You have noticed that the place where there are trees, are much more cooler and hygienic for living. That's why people prefer to spend their life in regions which are away from concrete jungle of cities Like New York, New Delhi, Tokyo, Mumbai, London, Cairo and all other big cities.

Deforestation is normal these days, this is creating a lot of problems. Some of the hazards from deforestation are as follow:

1) Soil Erosion: The trees help in keeping the soil intact with their roots but when there is lot of cutting of trees, the soil is washed away with water during the rains. And during floods the it creates havoc. Due to soil erosion the water level also falls down.
2) Pollution: Trees help in controlling the pollution in the air and if their are no trees, we have to face more air pollution.
3) Lack of Pure Oxygen
4) Environmental Imbalance
5) Imbalance in the Food Chain of the Ecosystem.
6) Global Warming is becoming a major problem these days due to this. Due to this Glaciers are melting and the Sea Level is rising day by day. This is indirectly creating lot of environmental problems.

Importance of Time

What Is The Importance Of Time In Our Life?

We can't imagine the life that we are leading without the invention of the concept of time and the statement itself says a lot about the importance of time.

Time brings regulation in our life and unless we regulate ourselves we are nor able to do any thing, however talented we are. We can take the case of a writer; no matter how talented he is but unless he sits for long hours to create, he is unable to create anything. The statement can be proved by the plight of many writers who are initially considered to be very talented but owing to their absolutely bohemian lifestyle the turn out to be a non-creators and their life is wasted without any noticeby people of the world.

Time plays and important role in our life. We all are just dependent on time. With out time we are nothing.
Time applies in our every walk of life. From sunset till night, the high tide and low tide due to moon, our seasons every thing is totally dependent on time. Let's take the example of student. If student is not working hard throughout his whole semester,he's just wasting time . What will happened the end of semester .He will not able to clear the semester .the reason is that he waste his all time. Time never wait for any one. We have to move with the time. Everybody has 24 hours in whole day. It's ourduty to manage the whole time. If we are not managing our time table or working in a proper schedule, we will face the problem in the end. So time management is very important.
Time is important form student till the managing director of some company.
If student is not coming on time, it means he's not realizing the value of time, if a farmer is not cutting the crop on time then he's also not realizing that he is wasting his own time.

Luck always knocks the door of that person who realizes the value of time. Try to be punctual in every thing.

Why Exercise Is Cool

Exercise Makes You Flexible

Can you touch your toes easily without yelling ouch? Most kids are pretty flexible, which means that they can bend and stretch their bodies without much trouble. This kind of exercise often feels really good, like when you take a big stretch in the morning after waking up. Being flexible is having "full range of motion," which means you can move your arms and legs freely without feeling tightness or pain.

It's easy to find things to do for good flexibility:

tumbling and gymnastics
yoga
dancing, especially ballet
martial arts
simple stretches, such as touching your toes or side stretches

Exercise Keeps the Balance

Food gives your body fuel in the form of calories, which are a kind of energy. Your body needs a certain amount of calories every day just to function, breathe, walk around, and do all the basic stuff. But if you're active, your body needs an extra measure of calories or energy. If you're not very active, your body won't need as many calories.

Whatever your calorie need is, if you eat enough to meet that need, your body weight will stay about the same. If you eat more calories than your body needs, it may be stored as excess fat.

Exercise Makes Your Heart Happy

Why Exercise Is Cool

You may know that your heart is a muscle. It works hard, pumping blood every day of your life. You can help this important muscle get stronger by doing aerobic (say: air-o-bik) exercise.

Aerobic means "with air," so aerobic exercise is a kind of activity that requires oxygen. When you breathe, you take in oxygen, and, if you're doing aerobic exercise, you may notice you're breathing faster than normal. Aerobic activity can get your heart pumping, make you sweaty, and quicken your breathing.

When you give your heart this kind of workout on a regular basis, your heart will get even better at its main job — delivering oxygen (in the form of oxygen-carrying blood cells) to all parts of your body.

So you want to do some aerobic exercise right now? Try swimming, basketball, ice or roller hockey, jogging (or walking quickly), inline skating, soccer, cross-country skiing, biking, or rowing. And don't forget that skipping, jumping rope, and playing hopscotch are aerobic activities, too!

7 Must Know Facts to Build Your Strength Training Routine

Building a strength training routine can be one of the trickiest parts of a fitness program. Ask 10 personal trainers what the best strength training routine is and you will get 10 different answers. Below are 7 must-know guidelines to use when building a strength training program. Each guideline provides the basic foundation that all strength training programs abide by. Learning the proper way to use free weights will greatly improve your strength, fitness, and health levels.

1) We cannot strength train a muscle today and tomorrow. We have to allow at least 24-36 hours of rest. Lifting on consecutive days leads to overtraining, muscle fatigue, and possible injury. All of our strength gains are made during the rest time!

2) We cannot spot reduce. This means if we want to lose weight in our stomach, doing 100 crunches a day will not make our stomach flab disappear. To reduce stomach fat, we need an overall reduction in body fat. Reducing overall body fat results from eating well, regular exercise, and proper rest.

3) We can spot tone. If we want bigger biceps, we can strength train for hypertrophy (fancy word for muscle growth). It is possible for us to focus on one specific muscle group. This is sometimes called targeted training. Studies have shown that machines isolate a muscle better than free weights.

4) Our strength training routines must be regular and consistent for results to take place. It took us years to put on the weight. We shouldn't expect it to all fall off in three weeks. The best outcome from your fitness and strength training program should be a lifestyle change. Replace bad habits with healthy ones and reap the rewards.

5) Realize that our strength training routine must be changed every 4-6 weeks. This will prevent our body from hitting a plateau and it will keep things interesting. We can change our method, our exercise or our intensity level. Not changing our routine on a regular basis will eventually stop producing results. We will continually grow stronger as we progress with our fitness program. Be sure your body is challenged on every workout.

6) Our strength training routines must be built according to our specific goals. Specific goals may be: fat loss, hypertrophy, maintaining weight or adding bulk. Each goal will have a different method that is best suited for optimal results. Someone who is interested in losing body fat will strength train differently than someone looking to increase muscle bulk. Knowing what your specific goals are will aid in creating the best strength training program possible.

7) Our strength training routines must work all of the major muscle groups in our body 1-3 times per week. This includes our biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, back, abs, quads, glutes, hamstrings and calves. Leaving out muscle groups will create an imbalance.

By using these 7 guidelines, anyone should be able to build a decent and effective program. The idea is to develop a safe strength training routine that provides us with major health and fitness benefits. Strength training has certainly increased in popularity over the past few years. Knowing how to build a strength training routine for our specific goals will move us one step closer to a fit body.

Power to U

Dinosaur vs. Internet Guru

Answer: It really doesn't matter so long as they are exposing your home to the greatest pool of buyers and the way to do that is by harnessing the power of the internet!

Believe in Yourself!

believe in yourself

If you are confident about your ability and believe in who you are and what you are selling, from your nose to your toes, they probably won’t even go there. They never did for me!

I remember MY mentor giving me the same advice. It didn’t matter. I didn’t believe her either. It was easy for her to say, she’s been a top producer every year since the day she started in this business. Yes, I was trained by the best! I couldn’t believe a seller could possibly NOT ask that question.

To be a really good agent, you need to be able to overcome (or at least avert) any objections that a potential client may throw your way; whether it be about experience, list price or commission, etc. Preparation breeds confidence!

So here are some suggestions for handling the objection… “I want an agent with more experience”

Now, all you “experienced” agents take a chill pill… we already know what YOU bring to the table, this post is to help give newer agents a leg to stand on when competing for business. Disclaimer: I am NOT discounting the importance or validity of having a good track record and lots of success stories to talk about!

A Life Without Love

A Sunset without a sun is no sunset at all.
A life without love is no life at all.
A rainbow without colors is no rainbow at all.
And heart without feelings is no human at all.

All these things need something to be,
Either a sun or a person or a crayon,
If only to create what nature said was meant to be.

A sunset makes us feel as though the world has been born again.
A life with love lets us know it's worth to let someone in.
A rainbow with colors thats a moment frozen in time, to be grateful for all that is beautiful and feel all the glory inside.
A heart that has feelings, well that would be me.
For I love just the thought of you and hope you feel the same for me.

Life without our love, is an emptiness I'm not sure I wish to face.
Because I know that time will never be able to erase.
I wish our love was as simple as a sunset, ready to be born again.
But I know in truth love only comes from within.
So I'll keep watching for my sunset, and looking for that rainbow to shine someday.
Then one day maybe our love will find its way again.

A drug called love

This peom is dedicated to my love named Sakshi

There were some hard times but I just stayed strong and got through it by myself it was me only I was on my own. Everything was ok but one day I found a drug I meet this drug I talked to it I figured it out from inside out. I felt like it was the perferct drug it it didn't hurt me it didn't make anything worse it made me stronger happeir and for once I felt loved.

I slowly started taking this drug more and more everyday. I craved for it I wanted more everyday to the point where I couldn't get anymore. I needed it to be stronger to satisfy my needs but ever dose I needed it stronger and stronger to the point it was causing me harm to get it.

My actions caused me to lose the amount of drug doses I got daily. I tried Anything to get as much doses as I could get. Once again I got in more troubled. My doses were so weak and small that it drove me crazy. For once in a long time I was alone. my doses were only there to help me at certain times I couldn't control when I took my doses and the doses only lasted for short while. It got to the point where my drug was causing me more sadness then happiness.

My drug left me a couple times and feeling no doses in a day made me weak and sick I needed it so bad.

I went back to my drug. I finally felt how it was without my drug so I took advantage of every dose I got no matter how weak or small it was I didn't want to lose it completly. It seemed perfect untill i needed more and craved for more but I stayed strong and tried to ignore the craving.

then one day I got the feeling that my drug was getting used by other people it drove me crazy I talked to my drug and found out I was wrong. But that feeling turned onto nightmares it wouldn't leave me alone I couldn't forget it I became so protective that I didn't trust my drug.

Now I'm here crying to myself. My drug gone. No more doses just me against the world and I tell myself that I can't live with out my drug, my medicine, my love, mi amor. But I don't think there's anything a can do to get her back.

Now I feel all the pains that my drug healed I feel them worse then ever. Even Worse before I knew about this drug. I feel my body weaking. I feel my heart beating stronger every second trying so hard to keep me alive my heart is just a normal heart it can only do so much I feel like I'm going to be to late to save it from reaching it's limit and dying. What am I to do. I know I must find something to help or it'll be to late. But All i want is her.........
only her..........
Without my drug I have no reason to live

Is "just believing" enough? ...

Do You Have Faith?

"Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that be is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Heb. 11:6). It is a requirement, not just a suggestion, that we have faith! If we are to please God, we must believe that He is - that He exists and is the Creator of all things and the One who rewards those who diligently seek Him.

When we speak about faith we often think of Thomas, referred to as Doubting Thomas because of his statement: "Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe (Jn. 20:25). After Thomas personally saw Jesus miraculously appear in a room where he and other apostles were assembled. behind closed doors, and was able to feel with his own hands the holes that were pierced in Jesus hands and side, only then did he believe. Jesus replied "Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (Jn. 20:29).

None of us has literally seen Christ, yet the evidence of his existence is everywhere. Even the mere fact that we exist should be proof of a Creator God. We are told in Eph. 3:9 that Jesus is the Creator of all things - of the multiple thousands of various life- forms around us.

To believe that life just evolved is contrary to the Word of God. The Apostle Paul referred to this in his letter to the Romans. "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Rom. 8:21). A better translation of the word corruption is decay. When we come to understand that the entire creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God to remove it from a state of decay, we realize that the theory of evolution has no merit. For evolution suggests that the creation is growing rather than decaying.

Faith is the basic ingredient that Christians must have and it is a powerful force in the hands of a believer. Heb. 11, the "faith chapter" has many references to people who possessed much faith:

biggest search engine

Traditionally, search engines have returned a list of references in response to a query — ten blue links. Cpedia changes this.

A natural way for people to receive information is a report — a summary of the topic. Current search results are more analogous to receiving a bibliography than a sourced report.

For each query, Cpedia algorithmically summarizes and clusters the ideas on the web and uses this to generate a report. We do the heavy lifting of removing all the repetition, so that unique and novel content surfaces. Just as Wikipedia uses the effort of a large number of people to edit a topic, we combine all the documents written about an idea on the web to generate one article.

There are many surprising relationships on the web… but one warning, not everything people say on the web is true.

Are you ready to read the Web?

Student Life - Writing Personals

Where are all the good men/women? You go to parties, sign up for various activities and ask friends and family if they know anyone they can introduce you to. Yet, your dating life has been more than a little disappointing. What is a guy/girl supposed to do to find quality people?

Begin by continuing to do what you have been doing. These are all good ways to meet people. However, you may need to expand your search to the world of online dating. This would allow you to expand your search and come into contact with interested and available singles you would never meet in the existing circles in which you now move.

Perhaps you are thinking, "I have already tried this with little or mixed success." Maybe this too has become a source of disappointment and frustration and even despair. If so, you could be going about it the wrong way, or be in need of some information to put you on a track to better success. The first important step is writing your personal ad and choosing a good site to place it on.

The following are tips to help you write for success.

* Be Yourself

The goal of your ad is to attract the kind of person who would be compatible with you. You are looking for someone who shares your goals, values, sense of humor, lifestyle and perhaps religion or other specific criteria. If you put in information that is not true to who you are, you could send potentially good dates on to the next ad. You may also attract the kind of person you are not interested in.

* Be Sincere

Nothing is more attractive than sincerity. Think about it. Isn't this a turn-on for you? If you are funny, be funny. If you are serious, be that. Use honesty in describing your traits and desires in a potential mate. If there is something that is a must-have for you in any future relationship, highlight it. Remember that when and if you move to the next step, the other person will experience you as you really are, regardless of what the picture you drew for them in your ad looked like.

* Write Like You Talk

This goes right along with being you. Don't make your ad seem too contrived or rehearsed. You will loose that feeling of sincerity. Write a few drafts and just let the thoughts flow. Then go back and edit it. Make sure you spell check and check again. There is no bigger turn-off than someone who appears to have poor grammar or spelling.

* Be Specific, But Leave Out Hang-Ups and Other Negatives

This is a first step. You want to put your true best forward. The picture you paint should be upbeat and positive. Everyone has a past. It's not wise too tell too much too soon. If you feel something is important, than put it in. A good example is "single mom", "divorced father of two", etc. Leave out the part about looking for someone to help me heal from a painful divorce. Do not mention past relationships except to inform that you had one.
